Maura Bissett explores though a series of tonal studies a moment in time and place, the time being one that we all shared in the years of lockdown 2020-22, and the place being Meadowbank, which lies just to the North side of Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh’s extinct volcano. These images are presented as a collection of photographs that form a memory of this time.
Stuart Horseburgh captures ‘moments in time’ through a series of miniature 3D models, like suspended animation. Stoorie has made models all his life and is a devotee of the comic strip and film, working as a cartographer for many years re-creating 1:1 scale reality at a miniature scale, which required attention to detail and a certain amount of story telling.
Additionally, GayaWearableArt, a high quality collection of silk scarves based on original artwork by Gaya, will be displaying her silk scarves during the exhibition.
